“…waiting for a train to go or a bus to come or a plane to go or the mail to come, or the rain to go or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow or waiting around for Yes or No…” Dr. Seuss
Waiting is dead hard! It’s painful and gruelling, it’s torture! When waiting for something awesome, you can experience that fusion-feeling that’s half exhilarating, half excruciating – it’s less horrible, but still not easy! The trouble is that some things can only be learnt, and many things can only be earned through “slowly.”
Some people wait well. They know, like the trees know. The tree reaches up at the sky, patiently, and collects its crown.
To a lovely little family counting sleeps and practicing waiting: that crown is winking!
